Dating and profile writing

A personal ad is the first and foremost prerequisite before entering into a commitment. Personal ads are the ones that attract our potential dates. Hence it is very important to be very crisp and clear in our personal ads and avoid making it too lengthy. The following are some of the ground rules for writing effective personal ads.
1. Complete personal profile details with utmost honesty
2. Never try to be too subjective
3. Fill personal ads with accurate information
4. Add your photograph to make it look more meaningful. It is always nice to add a face to a name. It also helps in increasing bonding between dates
5. If you have any special skill, please include that without fail. Apart from normal characters like honesty, trustworthiness etc, people would like to know more about you. Hence include special skills. It could be ability to play a musical instrument, being able to speak five or more languages, visited ten or more countries, gardening etc
6. Be very polite in your personal ads. Do not over express and do not subdue your expressions as well. Have reasonable expectations about your partner and explain only those.
7. Do not try to portray yourself as the world’s most perfect person. Every person has its strengths and weaknesses. We should be proud to exhibit our strengths and be equally honest to accept our weaknesses
8. Honesty goes a long way in creating effective dates. Hence make it a point to talk out your mind
9. Never mind how bad your past was. Be clear on your future and list down your priorities in your personal ads
10. Do express yourself in a positive way. The other person must be really interested in your profile not because of your financial strength or qualification, but because of your honesty and passion towards life.
Personal ads should be a gateway for a new and long lasting relationship. Hence they must be given the due care and effort. A lot of effort must go in preparing the personal ads and they must have lot of honesty and  positive attitude in them.
